A new year has arrived along with a new batch of K-dramas! 2024 is starting strong with a variety of new dramas to satisfy fans of diverse genres. Here are new K-dramas to check out in January 2024:
1. Doctor Slump
"Doctor Slump" is a funny and romantic story about two people named Yeo Jung Woo and Nam Ha Neul. Yeo Jung Woo is a famous doctor who does surgeries to make people look better. But one day, his job is in trouble. Nam Ha Neul is a doctor who gives medicine to make people sleep during surgeries, but she is feeling very tired and unhappy with her job. These two used to be enemies, but now they come together and help each other during a difficult time in their lives. They become a source of happiness and support for each other.
2. Marry My Husband
This story is about a lady whose marriage is not going well because of her mother-in-law. Her husband doesn't have a job, so she is the only one earning money for their family. One day, she discovers that she has cancer and doesn't have much time left to live. To make matters worse, she catches her husband cheating on her with her best friend. Sadly, she passes away but then wakes up in the past, 10 years before she started dating her husband. Now, she is determined to change her life.
3. Love Song For Illusion
This drama is about a love story between a crown prince with two personalities and an assassin girl who initially wants to kill him but ends up falling in love with him. The crown prince, Sajo Hyun, works as a fashion designer while hiding his identity and has a troubled past. The assassin girl, Yeon Wol, is the descendant of a fallen dynasty and seeks revenge. However, she loses her memory after falling into a trap while trying to assassinate the king.
4. Knight Flower
"Knight Flower" is an exciting and funny story that takes place during the Joseon era. It's about a woman named Jo Yeo Hwa, played by Honey Lee, who lives a simple and good life as a widow. But she has a secret! At night, she becomes a brave hero who helps people secretly. One day, she meets a military officer named Park Soo Ho, played by Lee Jong Won, and they become friends and work together to help others.
5. A Shop for Killers
"A Shop for Killers" is an action drama that revolves around Jung Ji An, who lives with her uncle Jin Man, the owner of a shopping mall. After her uncle's unexpected death, Jung Ji An inherits something dangerous and finds herself being pursued by suspicious assassins.
6. LTNS
"LTNS" is a story about a married couple who are very tired from their busy lives. They are so tired that they don't have any intimacy in their relationship anymore. To make money, they start blackmailing other couples who are having affairs outside of their marriages. While doing this, they start thinking about their own marriage, which is not going well.
